Minimal interpretation
The learner requests that learning be represented as an active process of revising an existing world model: locate a narrow, unsupported, or failed relation; take in relevant new information; reorganise the relation with prior knowledge; and test the revised model.
“Destruction” is interpreted narrowly. It does not mean discarding all prior knowledge. It means withdrawing, limiting, or replacing the particular representation, assumption, or relation that conflicts with better evidence or no longer fits its conditions.
