Ultra Goals
goals record: Ultra Goals.
Ultra Goals
Chinese version: /zh-hant/goals/ultra-goals/
Long-horizon direction. These goals guide priorities but should not compete with the single active goal.
North-star capability
Become an increasingly independent learner who can use LLMs responsibly to understand, practise, apply, and retain useful skills for career, work, study, and life.
Principles
- Build understanding, not just answers.
- Convert interests and failures into small, observable practice tasks.
- Keep source material and evidence traceable.
- Use LLMs to improve thinking, not replace it.
- Review and revise the learning system when evidence suggests it is not working.
Candidate long-term goals (prioritise later)
- Build a detailed, truthful learner model that makes LLM guidance more adaptive over time.
- Develop a sustainable habit of practice, reflection, and spaced review.
- Maintain a reusable personal knowledge base grounded in original sources and real attempts.
- Transfer learning into real projects, work outcomes, and everyday decisions.
Guardrails
- Do not start a new major objective until the current goal has a next action, an evidence standard, and a review point.
- Keep fewer active priorities than available attention.
- Archive or defer goals deliberately rather than silently abandoning them.
